To play the guiding role of the Laboratory Academic Committee is to make the state key laboratory construction a fundamental research foundation and an important guarantee of the open academic activities which represents the national level and is an important part of the laboratory management work. Over the past more than 10 years, the academic Committee has played an important role in the construction direction, research contents, training of talents, examination and approval of open subjects, and evaluation of achievements.

Organizational structure of the Academic Board

1、The Academic Board is the academic appraisal institution.

2、The Academic Board by the high academic level of the scientists, the conditions allowed to recruit foreign scientists as a member, generally 15 people is advisable. The candidates for the

4、The director of the Academic Board should be a scientist with deep academic attainments, and the Academic Committee shall have a part-time secretary to assist the regular and deputy directors in dealing with their daily work.

The work function of the Academic Board

1、To consider the research direction and scientific research plan.

2、To review room Director annual work report.

3、To make suggestions to academic activities, promote academic exchange and scientific research activities at home and abroad.

4、To consider the issue of laboratory fund issues report, evaluation of important scientific papers, works or other important achievements and make recommendations.

5、To appraise the academic level and achievement of scientific and technical personnel.

According to the functions of the Laboratory Academic Committee and the work needs of the laboratory, the Lab Committee holds regular plenary meetings, listens to and considers the laboratory work report, approves the laboratory Open Fund project, and reviews and guides the major issues such as laboratory research direction and open topics. At ordinary times, in order to timely inform, discuss and determine the laboratory research, openness and other circumstances and important work, the laboratory and the Academic Committee members also maintain a regular close contact. Laboratory leaders use business trips and members' visits to exchange information about the laboratory, solicit members' opinions and finalize new open topics. The laboratory also regularly sends to academic members relevant representative academic papers, doctoral dissertations, results appraisal materials and laboratory reports, and requires academic members to provide academic information and project planning dynamics to the laboratory.
