This direction develops advanced technologies for thermal energy conversion and utilization. Research and development of high-efficiency and low-pollution advanced combustion technology for pulverized coal boilers, such as high-efficiency and low-NOx combustion technology, burner arrangement of large-scale supercritical coal-fired boiler units, heat load characteristics in furnaces, mixed coal combustion technology, etc.; feeding and separation of large fluidized bed , heating surface layout, etc.; advanced combustion technology, gasification technology and related resource conversion and utilization of fluidized bed boilers using coal, biomass and solid waste as fuel; energy saving theory and technology of heat energy conversion process; natural gas, solar energy , new energy conversion such as biomass energy and hydrogen energy.
